ULTRA Intercept – the world’s only round coin capsule with active tarnish protection!

Thanks to proven technology, the ULTRA Intercept coin capsules offer a completely new form of coin collecting.

The 3mm thick foam ring in the capsules is based on Intercept technology, which has been patented for over 30 years. The copper particles contained in the material permanently bind corrosive gases and create a neutralized atmosphere in a very short time, which actively protects the coins from oxidation (guaranteed protection of up to 15 years*). The effect has been proven according to the proven standards DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM. Available for all coins from 26 to 41mm diameter (in millimeter increments).

*Under normal storage conditions, the duration of action is well beyond the specified 15 years! Only under very unfavourable conditions (e.g. exceptionally high air pollution or constant opening of the capsules / boxes) can it happen that the capacity of the intercept material is used up before the end of the 15 years. You can recognize the decrease in material effectiveness by a dark gray to greenish discoloration of the foil (not the coins!). In this case, you should replace the product with a new one.
