About our Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase and buy from us with confidence. You can return most products from Renniks within 30 days of receipt of delivery if you change your mind.

This change of mind returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty products. Please see our returning faulty products policy for more information.

Before returning a product you must complete the online returns request form outlining the reason for the return. In the event of a faulty, damaged or misbound product photographic evidence is required. Returns will not be accepted without an online returns form being submitted.

Change of mind returns

If you have changed your mind about a purchase, we may offer you a refund provided that the refund is requested within 30 days of purchase and you are able to provide proof of purchase. The product must be unused and in new, re-saleable condition.

Any products that have been damaged, misused or tampering with, have missing parts or are in unsellable condition, will not be accepted for return.

Return postage and packaging is at the customer’s expense. All returns must be packed securely with cardboard or bubble wrap to protecting the item.

Our team members will assess the item to determine whether a refund will be offered in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please note that delivery costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns.

Where an item is returned without an online returns request being submitted, has not been packed securely, or is not in new or re-saleable condition when it arrives at Renniks, Renniks is not obligated to provide a refund or credit and the product may be returned to you. We will contact you to advise of the return status.

Renniks is not required to accept change of mind returns on products outside the specified return window or change of mind returns of products that do not comply with this policy.

These conditions apply only to change of mind returns and do not apply to products that are returned because they are faulty, damaged or misbound.

Where a product is purchased with a gift or bonus offer, the gift or bonus must also be returned. If you are unable to return the gift or bonus item or it is not in a re-saleable condition, the value of any available refund will be reduced by the value of the gift or bonus (in full or in part).

In the instance of bundle offers, all items within the bundle must also be returned or the value of the unreturned items will be deducted from any available refund.

Excluded change of mind products

Custom made, monogrammed, personalised, and products altered at the customer’s request are not eligible for a change of mind return.

Sales to individuals who Renniks believes to be resellers or bulk purchasers are final sales, and the change of mind policy does not apply.

To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of this policy, Renniks may refuse to accept products returned for change of mind if we identify an unreasonable or excessive return pattern and may also restrict or refuse future transactions from such individuals.

Proof of purchase requirements

Refunds and exchanges must be accompanied by one of the following proof of purchase documents for change of mind:

  • Online tax invoice (order confirmations are acceptable)
  • Packing slip

Please note that our team members are not responsible for proving your purchase for a change of mind return. You must supply the proof of purchase, which our team members can validate.

Faulty and incorrect product returns

As a consumer, you are entitled to certain guarantees in respect of products purchased from Renniks.

These guarantees are called Consumer Guarantees and are not impacted by the change of mind policy or restricted by a defined timeframe. Australian Consumer Law recognises that the relevant time period may vary by product, depending on the nature of the product, price paid and any representations made about the product.

If you have received a product that is incorrect, damaged, misbound or faulty we require notification within 10 business days from the time the delivery was made. Renniks will require photographic evidence of the issue and may require you to return the item for assessment.

Where a product is damaged through misuse, neglect or abnormal use, business name will not provide a refund or exchange.

Renniks will accept the return of any faulty or misbound product Renniks supplies or publishes regardless of where it is purchase from.

Refunds for all purchases will be given using your original payment method.

Refund timelines

It may take 1-5 business days after we receive the item(s) to process your refund. Once we have, we’ll email you to let you know that we have processed your refund.
